Saw The Church in Chicago, IL...kicked ass and excellent show as always! Met Marty, Steve, and Tim before and after the shows at the merchandise booth...i thought THAT was pretty damn cool! Marty and Steve were selling and helping out fans/customers and I talked with Tim, ...Peter was hard to find but he usually acts like a recluse everytime. This was the 4th time seeing The Church...1st time was the Acoustic show in Saint Louis, MO Mississippi Nights '94', Chicago House of Blues '98', Hurricane Kansas City, MO '03', and House of Blues Chicago '09'. Lovin' every concert and The Church Rule!!!! Best kept secret as far as Bands go, for sure!

Thanks For All The Cool Cutz, Music, and Good Times! Can't wait to see you next time around too.

Cheers!!!!

Caught the show at the Ram's Head Tavern in Annapolis, Maryland on June 30. Adam Franklin/Bolts of Melody were fantastic as the opener, although I was disappointed Adam didn't play any old Swervedriver tunes. Steve, Marty, Peter and Tim looked and sounded great. Marty was sporting a scruffy Grizzly Adams beard and I joked with him about it after the show. Steve made some funny comments during the show and had the crowd laughing. All in all a great evening with a great band and worth every penny. I'm listening to the new album now and it sounds terrific. Hope to see them again soon!

These are great photos, thanks. Wish they Church were due in London. When my missus saw these photos she commented how good Steve looked - and that Marty - does he think he's cat weasel!

So glad to finally get to see The Church, performing at The Egg in Albany, NY, having been a fan since late one night in '82 or '83 when MTV played a video for "The Unguarded Moment," which sent me off on endless searches through record stores for the latest import album or EP. Love them, love them, love them, and I could not believe how good they sounded in concert. I don't know that I've ever seen a better band.

We caught the show at the world famous Roxy, in west hollywood, the church were outstanding, and the new recordings from Untitled #23, is probably one of their most interesting recordings to date. Truly one of the best kept secrects and most underrated bands from down under.
